Every day, hundreds of men and women in the Wiregrass area selflessly serve as members of local law enforcement ensuring the safety of our entire community. We’d like to offer you the opportunity to express your gratitude for their sacrifice and commitment.
We are proud to present the 8th Annual Back the Blue event on May 25th.
During the event, these community heroes will be treated to dinner, entertainment, and door prizes. This event is only made possible by the generous support of valued community partners like yourself. We are looking for businesses and individuals who are willing to contribute through food donations, entertainment, door prizes including gift cards and trips, and sponsorships. Additionally, the event also depends heavily on volunteers to give of their time to ensure its success.
While the event had to be put on pause the past two years, we are expecting hundreds of local law enforcement officers to join us again this year from all over the Wiregrass area. At the inaugural event started by Hometown Lenders in 2015, around 200 officers attended. In 2020, that number tripled to more than 600 attendees.
For more information and to pledge your support, please call our Hometown Lenders office at 334.794.2661. All monetary donations are tax deductible and go directly to the Dothan Police Foundation.
We hope you will consider supporting Back the Blue. This event truly gives us an opportunity to partner together and say thank you to these outstanding individuals who nobly serve us each and every day.
